Part of a well-rounded training in musical skills is learning to display those skills to an appreciative audience. I don't just teach my students how to play music - I teach them how to perform it.

To this end, my students are able to participate (as desired) in a number of various recitals, music festivals, and competitions along with students of other instructors from around the Pacific Northwest. In addition to these regional events, I also host an annual recital for my own students. This is a perfect venue for my students and their families to meet each other and also to play for perhaps the first time in front of a real audience.
